So, without naming names or events; last year, I pre-regestered for a con that was to take place in August on the east coast. A couple weeks before the con was to start, the head of the con announced it's cancellation, and stated pre-reg fees would be refunded within 90 days.

Okay, that's understandable. Surely a member of this great community wouldn't screw me over.

After not hearing anything by the close of 2015, I emailed to the address provided by this cancellation notice regarding the refund still owed - no response.

I noted the person in question directly here on FA, politely asking about my refund. No response, but I can see it's been read. (Nifty thing about notes.)

It's too far out for PayPal to do anything without contacting their fraud department, which I'm tempted to do so now out of sheer aggravation.

Not only have they not refunded my pre-reg fee, but they haven't refunded either of the two friends I was planning on attending the con with.

Anyone familiar or experiencing a similar issue with the con not being directly mentioned is more than welcome to signal boost this,
