For starters, Spyro has always had a fan-community... I actually wouldn't know why owning companies wouldn't chase after r34 or such, but there's probably nothing to gain from it, at the same time.

For seconds, Magic's worldwide presence and Wizards' ownership by Hasbro... need I go on?

While MtG's presence is definitely growing, unfortunately it hasn't pervaded the furry fandom as much as I would have thought it would. Otherwise I think there'd be way more art about ( I mean look at Ajani!).

More love for the characters would definitely be very nice.
