Bo Burnham is a fucking genius tbh. His comedy style is just... so fresh, so erratic, you can never really know for sure what you're gonna get from him at any given moment. And on a deeper level, I really feel for him; he's painfully self-aware- about himself, and comedy, and about entertainment and culture as a whole. He blew up on YouTube at 16, and has gone on to become one of the youngest big-time comedians ever, but if you really listen to what he has to say you start to understand just how bitter he is- he achieved his dream, only to find that the whole platform and the enterainment industry as a whole is fucking fake and nothing is worth anything. And while he's been saying that for a while now, his newest comedy special, Make Happy, seems to show someone who's truly broken and bitter. It's heartbreaking, honestly- because what he says is ultimately 100% true, and needs to be heard. You can find Make Happy on Netflix; or, if you don't have Netflix, here's a streaming link.
