1. Howdy, new friends!
I have amassed so many followers recently, and have forgotten to introduce myself!
Howdy, new friends!

I'm Emi, but you can really just call me Erie or Captain or whatever you'd like. c: I'm a nearly-20-year-old kid in college who dabbles in just about every art thing you can imagine, including traditional and digital 2D art, sculpture, metals and metal work, minimal wood work, some light fursuit building (building just 1 suit can hardly be called light, though!), and overall sewing work, knitting, and very rarely, crochet~! Don't be surprised if you see a bunch of things show up at different times. c:

I sleep weird, especially during the summertime, and I'm kind of a huge nerd, so if you have video games or movies or music or things like that you wanna tell me about, I'd love to see what you've got, and don't bite!

2. Life Updates
Now for some life Updates!

Oks first up, I've shut down my Patreon~
There have been issues with Patreon accepting payments and essentially locking out my patrons, so I've closed the account until I can figure out and address the issue.

Also, now that school is out, I will of course be struggling with an odd case of insomnia, and will be wanting to do more at night to feel productive. That means commissions will be consistent and regular, at least until the Fall.
Speaking of school, before I get distracted!
I will, hopefully, be transferring to another school, and probably out-of-state, to further pursue a BFA in Animation. That won't be until next Fall, but that means I'll need to start preparations for it right away, while I also try to enjoy this little break from academic art and just focus on how to have fun with it again.

Speaking of having more fun with art!
I have been playing with WAY too many designs, and have been overly excited in possibly making more than my one Kigurumi. (It's an Erie Kigu; I wore it at TFF this year! <3)
I've been considering taking on one or two kigu commissions, staying around $100, since I'm not planning on doing this full-time. c: They're just fun~<3
I'm hoping to make a kigurumi for Captain, Journey Erie, and of course, Marron. I'd love to wear these to furry cons and out and about~!! Also, speaking of furry cons!

I am hoping to attend more furry conventions this year, while I am away from college! Unfortunately, because I live in Texas and am only aware of 1 Fur con here within this state, my options are most likely going to be limited to nearby states, or with severely long breaks in-between cons~!
My current list of possible targets includes:
•MFF
•BLFC
•Furpocalypse
•TFF****
•Anthrocon**

This all depends on whether I can get the funds in time, but hopefully I will be meeting some of you there! c:



3. Goals!
I mentioned doing a few things~!

1) I really want to make more kigurumis and things, so I may take 1 or 2 designs to work on over this summer. It's a learning process for me, so they'll be relatively cheap~!
2) Starting up more YouTube videos! I want to build up a more personal, lively connection, rather than just be that quirky little artist that poops art up onto the internet behind the scenes you've all come to know me as!
3) I'll be fursuiting more! More kigu time, more time for artwork, just more time to enjoy the creative process. I want to appreciate what I make more, and allow myself some more downtime throughout this reboot.
4) Cons! Conventions, conventions, conventions!!! One of the biggest priorities on my list right now is Anthrocon. I will be aiming for AC 2017 because I cannot join everyone this year, and it's a really huge bummer for me. That means that all my other cons can possibly be bypassed in order to make that quota~
5) Portfolio building! EXTREMELY important, mostly because in order to get into a new art school, I must have a lot of work done in preparation! c: If I do end up getting into the art schools I choose, I most likely will cut down on commissions, trades, and gifts, just because it will have to take priority over everything. <3

I hope this means that everyone, not just me, has a lot to look forward to!
