Just a question for y'all

How long are you on FA per day?
Are you only on for an hour or two once a day? All day long? Sometimes you go days without getting online?
I'd like to know. Just for fun.

I more or less get like 500 submissions per morning that i go through and i try stay on top of that.
but i have like 34,822+ submissions atm cause i been in outback in no internet land and still will be for a while >W>
Best to keep the two things seperate I would think.
Or u could tell them, get fired, sue for wrongful termination,...,profit.
Actually, maybe it's better just not to say anything lol
Besides, I have singlehandedly bailed this org outta bankruptcy once already; lord knows they have fuck all to get sued for xP
The project was worth about eight tenths of the target turnover for that month. We blew that target outta the water with the addition of smaller projects the other guys were chasing.
Not a bad catch, even if I do say so myself.
EDIT: Still no raise though xD
And do you mean tech support as in information technology or like people call you up on the phone and such? Or both?
But yeah I understand the whole solving problems sort of thing.
To check up on things, I spend maybe like 5-10 mins. If I decide to browse, an hour or two's not unusual. (Since I browse by following favorite/gallery chains, it's sort of like Wikipedia binging.) If I'm uploading stuff/responding to comments, I think that's usually 2 hours? But a lot of that time's spent in my word processor, so I'm not sure how that counts :|
Yeah looking at people's favorites can lead to awesome art and finding new artists to watch. I looked at your favorites and I already found like 3 new artists. (Your favorites are so good x.x) Not sure about the word processor though.
Love your art btw.
I'd already been drawing and following furry art for years before I got this account. That's one of the reasons I'm so used to browsing through favorites—when you don't have an account, that's pretty much the only way to browse FA. I must admit, I was pretty embarrassed when I realized FA hid mature pictures from lurkers—I thought some of my favorite artists had just died, when in reality they had started drawing nothing but porn lol
So, when I favorite, I'm really picky. I sort of favorite thinking like, if I was someone else browsing through favorities, what would I like? So even if I like the content of the picture, I'll frequently avoid faving it if there's some anatomy error that bugs me for something. It has to be good enough for me to suspend disbelief, you know? I've got to be a able to look at it and think, yeah, this could be real in some alternate dimension or something. Even if it's really stylized, or a bit rough, if the artist's really into their work, I can get that vibe.
A lot of times I end up faving stuff by really popular artists, cause a lot of times, they're the ones that can draw that good. But there's a lot of popular artists I'm not that fond of, and if a more obscure artist is good, I won't hesitate to like their stuff too. It's all just based on the pictures.
A lot of times, I'm so picky I'll only like a few pictures out of someone's gallery. So, in the end, it's sort of like, if I'm only going to like a few pictures out of everyone's gallery anyway, why would I follow them? I don't want to be updated with a bunch of stuff I know I'm not interested in. I'd rather be looking around for a couple cool pictures from new artists. So I just sort of go around and occasionally check up on artists I like by hand. (I always check out the galleries of artists of pictures I really like, which will sometimes unintentionally take me to my favorite artists' pages.) And if I find myself checking up on some artist like, every day, then I follow them. Other than that? No.
So… yeah. That's why I focus on favorites so much. Sorry of this is TMI--I'm bored. :p
(Also, for trivia's sake: tonight, I've been on FA for 14 minutes and in my word processor for an hour. I have a program that measures my computer usage.)
I understand about the anatomy error stuff. There's been loads of times that I see a piece of art that looks good but then there's just one part about it (whether it be the face, arms, legs, etc.) that just doesn't look right makes me not wanna fav it. I don't think Im super strict when it comes to faving cuz it just has to look good to me :P I may be biased more to just nudes and pin ups and nonsexual nudity while I dont tend to fav a whole lot of actual sex stuff cuz I kindalike it more and it usually drawn in beautiful ways instead of two characters doing it and they look weird. Of course, some of those pics do look beautiful and I do fav it but it generally isnt the case.
I also end up faving popular artist's stuff because, as you said, they can always do it right constantly. And thier art style and how they make the characters look also adds to it. When I see an artist that i havent been watching yet and I look at their gallery, if I generally like the art they make, then I'll watch cuz I feel that they will improve and make it look really good.
That's a pretty cool program. It's like stats on your time haha, so you know where you spend the most time on i suppose.
I try to make up for low quality stuff by drawing the more extreme fetishes I'm into myself. That way I know it will be drawn in the way I like. If I wasn't doing that, I probably would be desensitized to the sex stuff too :p
That goes for pretty much everything too. Like some sexy art is just... Art to me. I know the sexiness is there but I'm desensitized to it now, I think.
And I try to do that in my art too. When you're making something from scratch, it's always "fresh." There's a lot of body types, poses, angles, clothing, and backgrounds I haven't tried yet, and I'll probably never run out. And getting ideas from people commenting and stuff makes me think of even more new ideas.
Because of that, I'm really not that desensitized. Really weird shit still does freak me out a bit, and tamer drawings frequently arouse me a lot. I mean, sometimes I'm in the mood for weird, so I'll look it up and enjoy it then, but only occasionally. I never go like, "Hey, I like this fetish, so I'll look it up every day!" (Other than furry as a whole, I guess)
I mean, I'm probably still fairly far from a normal person, but I think try to keeping things fresh like I have has helped me enjoy furry stuff a lot more.
Or maybe I'm just horny, and naturally get aroused easily. It's hard to say :p
