current thoughts on today (tw: death, heavy topic)

i am sitting here filled with rage and sadly enough fear over what happened this morning. i am so tired of this needless violence and killing. what happened was a flat out hatecrime, you cant tell me otherwise. if you disagree with me, the unwatch button is right on my page. i am so sick to my stomach that even in a safe environment, my people are still in danger of stupid actions like this. i am so tired of the media swiping us to the side. we matter. we matter so much. to forget about a group of people and pretend they dont exist is beyond me, how anyone could live like that is a true monster to me. my heart goes out to the families and friends of those who were killed, and my best wishes to those injured that they will survive such a tragedy.

All we can do know is hope everyone who is injured makes a good recovery, and that they're surrounded by the ones they love.
It's very unfortunate that this happened, it really shouldn't be this way. =(
i'm hoping this, at least, makes even more and more people rally up against these hate crimes.
I wish WISH we had gun control in our country but I guess it's not that important. If they're calling what happened this morning 'the worst in US history' I'm hoping they realize we need better gun control....
