My heart goes out to the victims of this act of senseless violence. I've heard we lost a member of the community to it, but I can't say who it is as I can't confirm anything, and don't wish to be party to hearsay. If anyone finds out anything, particularly along the lines of charity orgs handling the victim's expenses, could you let me know so that I could pass it on? I wish that there were more that I could do in times like this; I feel so helpless.

I don't know if it's true but I heard secondhand that KodaKoda Cyote was a victim in the shootings

I actually learned it from your journal myself. Being in SC, I'm not in any of the Florida state groups so can't confirm it beyond that. It's just a tragedy. :(

There has been a massive outpouring of support. A few airlines are even offering free airfare to get families united with the wounded. I'm still a little bit in shock, I work really close to orlando.
