#PrayforOrlando
So, many of you know I'm an Orlando native. And you probably know what's happened.
Last night, at the Pulse Nightclub, a popular gay venue, 50 people were killed by a despicable man, and 53 more were injured. The man in question deserves to be forgotten, to be thrown on the trash bin of history. He declared he did this for ISIS, and his hatred of homosexuals, and that is all you need to know. He was consumed by his biases and hatred, and his final actions made him sub-human. It has nothing to do with his race, his religion, or his gender; he was a monster. And now my hometown is marked as the site of the worst mass shooting in American history. But, the show has to go on. Orlando has a reputation as the most popular tourist attraction on Earth, and we all have to carry on. We have to put on a smile, even when we're dying on the inside. But that's alright, because that's who we are, here.
I am religious, and I will be praying. If you are, too, I'd welcome your prayers. I believe firmly that God loves everyone, and that he hurts when we do. I believe he even loved the shooter, and his heart breaks that the shooter found it necessary to do this. If you aren't religious, then I only ask you reach out to anyone that may be hurting from this horrible event. All of us, regardless of creed, should do what we can to help the healing process. Donating blood will help a lot for the surviving injured, in particular.
Take care, stay safe, and God Bless,
-Renard

I too shall be praying for their souls and their families. No one, regardless of sexuality or identity, deserves death, pain or suffering.

I've been praying all day for them. What makes me sick is there are people praising the sick actions this man has done.

Exactly, the best thing to do is move on, continue to kiss a bae in public, party in nothing but high tops and drinks up.
