I first heard about the shooting yesterday morning at 5:30am when I got to work. It was still going on. My mate was at his work watching it all unfold on the news and kept texting me about it. It was horrifying...and hard to believe. Later in the day after 50 were pronounced dead and over 50 wounded, it became the worst mass shooting in US history. Not even an hour away from where we live...

It makes my stomach turn just thinking about it. A violent hate crime committed by some sick twisted psycho who should of NEVER been allowed to purchase a gun. Laws need to change to prevent insane people like this from purchasing weapons. THIS is what happens.

My heart breaks for all the friends and families of the victims, who's identities are now being released online.

I was going to go to Orlando to donate blood yesterday but they were at capacity so I decided not to. I may try to go later in the week. I encourage anyone in the area to do so if they are able to. I'll try to donate what I can to the go fund me that was set up for the victims.
