I know it's not standard form to "pimp" myself out in this manner, but it's a rather serious time. I'm fighting just to keep my head above water.

As some of you may or may not know, around 2 weeks ago, I joined the ranks of the unemployed. Truth be told, I was taught, hard-headedly, growing up, to be self sufficient, and it comes as a challenge to ever ask for help, even when I need it. Now, don't take this the wrong way, I'm not scraping and begging for donations and hand outs. In the wake of this, there is some good news. I was accepted as penciler for a comicbook called Blackwood, by KnightShift Entertainment. The downside, is that it will be a bit before it pays off. In the meantime, to simply pay my bills (since I just got into this place on my own) for this month, I have to acquire something to the tune of about 600 dollars. No easy feat, especially for being unemployed.

So, here's the real deal. No one likes to give something and get nothing, so this is how I'm rectifying that. I'm knocking my commission prices down by half until further notice. That's right, everything half off, rounded down to the nearest dollar (i.e., $10 becomes $5, $35 becomes $17). Now, the harder part of this, is being a fairly unknown artist, so, even if you aren't interested in purchasing a piece of art, spread the word. This money is and will be going to keeping the essentials (car, electricity, rent).
