I'm also totally stoked to see your 3D render prices and will try to get $50 at some point because I'd love to see you render me~ (I hope you're not too disappointed I'm not a Charmeleon anymore, haha! You always drew my Char really superbly back in the day~)
No I'm not disappointed that you changed your character. I might have been a little disappointed if you said something like you hate Pokémon now :P The prices might increase later if there is demand, since I set some of them a little low. I don't count on this bringing me fame and fortune any time soon though.
Hahaha~ No, I still love Pokemon lore and the many species and the like. I have kind of gotten tired of the main games though. They still are fine, I just feel like the Pokemon Company has lost a bit of heart with the series; it's too big, too popular, and too easy to play it safe when developing things for it. I miss the spirit the company used to have as a whole - but some people there clearly still have spirit. Seeing new Pokemon designs proves that. (I'm adoring Iwanko in particular.)

I myself have just always loved your style. Heck, you fleshed out my character personality massively with that battle picture you did of me and my counterpart Ramech... I'm still the same character actually, just in a different body - a body that I've determined to be more appropriate for who I am these days. My personality is largely the same though - if more multilayered. (That battle pic, as well as other things, encouraged me to gain those layers. I was too scared to show part of myself off in the past.)
I'm actually still a Pokemon, theoretically, as a Shadox as I am now. It's just a Fanmon species. :3 Based heavily off of Eeveelutions. I will always love being a Pokemon, but I wanted a bit more of my own identity, so...Fanmon seemed like a good option.
I totally get where you're coming from with the games; the feel definitely changes when companies grow in size. There are both good and bad sides though, and personally I like the newer ones a lot.
However, what I was getting at is I sometimes see people with rather transient interests and I think it's kind of sad to see when they keep doing full 180s on stuff for one reason or another. Change is fine, but I think it's healthy to bring your past with you as well.
Some big companies can keep the heart, but it seems pretty easy to lose. I do like some things being produced though, and the world of Sun/Moon does look neat.
Ohh I see. Yeah, transient interests...that's usually how people are with fads, right? Extreme interest, and then it all disappears after a while. There was this fad for a while amongst some furries actually, planedragons - perhaps you heard about them. Combining planes and dragons. There was a big group of fans on Twitter too, and I got involved and ended up with a couple of my own planedragons. But...a few months later, and everybody just, disappeared. Many people were giving away/selling their planedragons... It was like, geez, what happened?
I still have my plane-fellows though. And I still have my old Charmeleon self, and still get/post art of that form, for that matter. People still love that form, I still love that form - it's my legacy form, but it's not pointless, and it is a wonderful piece of my personal history that I'll never give up. :3 So I agree - bring the past with you, as even the past can teach you quite a bit too.
