Start Here
So I'll get the "other stuff" out of the way first. There's been a lot going on in my life, that a lot of you might not know about, since I mostly lurk around here and don't post much these days. This will at least partially explain that.
Just under a year ago, my boyfriend at the time broke up with me, and is now with his roommate from college that he moved in with. See previous journal. I'm still not quite ok, but I'm getting there. I've realized that I don't miss him as a person as much as I miss the relationship we had.
In happier news, I got a new job about three months ago. Full-time with benefits and all that good shit. I love the job, the people I work with are cool, and it's just a lot of fun. I'm starting to realize that my life isn't nearly as boring as I make it out to be.
Because of this new job, I had to move out of my parents' house. I have my own apartment now, and I'm still working on getting settled in. It's a nice 2 bed, 1 bath unit, and the rent is decently affordable for me. Sure, it gets lonely sometimes, but overall I'm happy with it.

Are there any panels you might be attending?
I'm definitely planning to attend a lot of the concerts and performance type events.

Goatee, glasses, shoulder-length hair tied back, t-shirt.
Will you be suiting?
Nope.... I don't even own a fur suit.
Do you do free art?
Sure! Though a word of caution, I'm not very good at drawing.
Do you do trades?

I like to make my rounds of all the Downtown Pittsburgh staples, like Furnando's (even though it's called something different now). And for all the times I've been to AC, I've never been to Tonic.....

What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Mostly, I just want to have a good time. I'm planning to volunteer on the A/V crew in the main ballroom a lot. I'd love to meet a lot of people and make some new friends.
