Greetings mortal. TL:DR - Life is shit for me right now, but expect more art soon, I hope.
Everyone knows I normally don't make posts like this, but I thought it would be best to let people know what is going on in my life so you don't wonder where my art is. As some of you may know my life has gone down the toilet lately; it has not been the best couple of months.
Zook and I were kicked out of the house we are renting from his parents for an indeterminate amount of time due to renovations. Lived there for 8 years and it was a bit of an ordeal for us. We moved into his parents' basement, but it is not the best or happiest of situations and all the cigarette smoke is giving me a constant headache.
Apparently I'm waiting for gallbladder surgery, scheduled for mid-August, not looking forward to that at all. Never had surgery before and I'm terrified of hospitals, yay.
Our 9 year old husky, Skye, died out of the blue a couple weeks ago, I'm still in shock. She was active and happy right to the end... At least she didn't suffer, but my heart is broken.
Our car is out of commission with transmission problems. She's in the shop, but anyone who knows anything about cars knows this is expensive and time consuming to fix. We're renting a car in the meantime, cuz that's nice and cheap...
I managed to get hired a couple weeks ago, it's only one day a week, but it's something at least. Our schedule is in shambles and I haven't been to the gym in too long, but I'm trying. I'm trying to climb back out of this depressing hole I fell in, expect more art soonish, just need to find my motivation again. Maybe I'll try to stream soon, if I can get a chunk of bandwidth.
