That's sad to hear, but at the same time, it's always good when artists ultimately pursue what they care about, rather than giving in to the expectations of others. You've accomplished a lot so far, and I have no doubt you'll continue to do so, whatever you choose to draw. Ars gratia artis!

well anthro characters, have never been my main focus.
i just like how the look, better then how humans look generally.

world building and illustrating has always been my greater focus
and that includes non-automotive transport infrastructure,
that meets the needs of physically diverse people,
which anthro's of course are.

that and while not perfect and perhaps starting to get less so,
i still find the anthro 'community' more of a comfortable home,
then most of those of most of my other interests.
