Damn. Sorry to hear that you're not going. I think I only know one person that actually is going. And I don't know them irl. Would be nice to have some friends to go with so I don't have to go ti alone. Again.

I do plan on trying for next year. I was so into for saving for BLFC that I didn't really consider AX until early June. lol

I live in the Los Angeles area so I don't really have to save too much (Aside from the actual badge which seems to be getting more and more expensive each year.)

Yeah alot of my friends from SoCal so they lucked out on a lot of the travel expenses, but yeah, I agree reg price is crazy.

This year it was 90 for pre reg and they tacked on a $5.20 charge for pre registering online. (Which of course is the ONLY way to do so.) And if you wait until day one it goes up to 95, and if you register at-con it shoots up to $125. And this is basic access. As in what you have to pay be able to walk around and buy stuff. Not including autograph sessions or concerts. It's really ridiculous.

My favorite con is Fanimecon. Cheaper, more included with the price. Just all around a better con. Just wish they had more hotels in their housing block. It's getting harder to go to it each year.

Dude that's insane!!! I wasn't even planning on actually paying for reg, I wanted to just hang out bc I knew it was alot, but dang I didn't know it was THAT much.

Well, I'll most likely being doing Fanime next year for sure, I could've gone this year, but it was too last minute for me haha.

If you do go to fanime next year please let me know. I could use a bigger list of potential con friends. Though like I said it's getting harder and harder to go to the con since it's getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully they hammer out something actually reasonable to compensate. As of yet pre-reg isn't open for next year because they tied it to who would be able to register for hotels first this year.

It's definately likely for me! Apsykes is willing to pay for my way out there for me to be there, and by then I will have more cosplays lined up too! It'll actually be worth going, I normally don't like to go to things if I don't have a costume of sort that's fitting for the con aha. I'll be around for sure, especially at an Undertale panel or meet up with my Asriel cosplay. I'm always down to meet up and say hi!
