"Ok, so I'm trying to see if I can find some roommates to move into my place to help make things a little easier and less lonely.
Here's the info:
Location: Whitehall, PA 18052
Eastern coast of Pennsylvania (about 45-50 mins northwest of Philly)
It's a very nice neighborhood and a very large apartment.
it's 2 bedroom
2 full bath
washer/dryer in unit.
wall to wall carpetting
centrail heat/air conditioning
Electric is the ONLY utility. (electric oven, heat, ac...)
it's 2nd floor (no noisy upstairs neighbors, yay!) balcony.
Parking lot for cars, or can park on the street if you want to. it's an apartment in a complex... managed apartments. Swimming pool, gym, basketball and tennis courts.
Very close to mall, shopping and plenty of jobs.
So, that's the meat and potatoes of the place.
I've lived here for over 5 years and it's a wonderful apartment complex. Good neighborhood, lots of colleges and stuff nearby. Car insurance is cheap, as well as other things so if you are looking to save some money on that it's definitely better than some of the other states I've lived in.
So, I am trying to find someone who wants a room... possibly a couple (that would be better...make things cheaper for everyone) you would have your own bathroom, and full access to a full kitchen and everything else.
I do have some requirements and will give more info if needed.
1. NO DRUGS. Can't stress that enough... I don't have anything against people who do drugs... I've lost a lot of close friends to drugs so I have my own reasons why I don't like it around me. That and trying to get government job having that in the house especially since a lot of my friends or people I know are federal officers, just makes life easier if it's not around.
2. Be clean. I don't care if your room is a mess, as long as you don't leave the rest of the house messy, I'm fine with it.
3. Be able to pay rent and bills on time. I would appreciate if you were employed or could easily get a job. there are plenty of places to work in the area.
4. I would prefer if you were not a massive torrenter. The internet connection here is not the fastest in the world, and I would like to be able to use the internet that I pay for and be able to watch netflix and play online games on my xbox 360 without all the bandwidth being eaten up.
I do work a lot, so if you must download a billion things or play WoW or anything that eats internet like a fat kid at a cake shop... I post my work schedule on the wall near the front door so you can download the moon till your hearts content while I'm at work, but I would like to be able to use the net when I get home.
Yes, there is wireless internet...yes, it's Verizon. right now the max speed is like 760kbps (tried faster internet...it doesn't work with the lines here)
Anyway, those are the major things. I would like to have someone or a couple move in to help make things easier for everyone and I do enjoy hanging out with people and being social so it is nice to not have an empty house.
Obviously I'm gay....or at least whatever I want to call it... I like guys... so if you are gay, bi... whatever... not an issue at all.
I do own a LOT of guns. So, be comfortable with that. I've got over 10 years of training that keeps me and those around me safe, so I'm not irresponsible with them. If you do not like guns or are not comfortable with that, then I don't think it would be a good choice for you... as I have them around and people come over with guns and we go shooting and all that.

i miiiiight be able to take you up on that offer, sadly ive still got classes to finish till the end of the year. after that we can talk bout my applying to a university near you.
ive got money..."enough" ill say that much, to pay for the "rent" or whatever the costs are.
my GPA and background should get me into most universities or maybe a technical college. (whichever is closest)
i come from a VERY CLEAN family. just got done vacuuming the house and doing dishes after i took out the trash and put my sheets to wash as i do weekly. (if thats a problem, i can elongate that to satisfy bills on the washer.)
i dont download as much as i like to talk to friends on instant messanger during my out of class time.
of course i dont do drugs "winners dont use drugs"
moving to PA would be good for me seeing as my mom lives in NY not SC and she actually supports my life choices.
SO...i guess that covers everything, money, cleanliness,means of "no lazy around the house and do nothing syndrome", no torrenting, and no drugs; seems like all of it. hope to do business with you in the near future lol

I know, it's VERY short notice.... but I JUST found out that I need to find at least one or two more roommates before July otherwise I'm screwed.
usually my fam plans a move at least a whole year if not two in advance. i wonder who youll get at such short notice....

I would have liked more definite notice of when my old roommates were moving out.
it was always "I don't know.." or "eventually" or "Soon" I can't make plans for "soon" or "eventually"
So I was kinda screwed on the timing.
Then I got someone to move in.... and he neglected to tell me that he was only going to be able to stay a month if we didn't have one or two more roommates... and told me this a few days ago.
I really do hope that I can figure something out and fast.

yes... I've spent over 10 years training with military, law enforcement personelle as well as martial artists in various forms of armed and unarmed combat.
how much is the rent currently and how much would i have to pay if i could move in? seems expensive from the sound
well if ONE person were to move in right now... rent would be $280 a month. then we would split the electric and internet by 3.
if 2 more people move in, then rent would be 212 a month. and electric and internet would be split by 4
it's very inexpensive... at least for the area where it is. spitting distance from NYC, NJ, Philly, and 4 hours to Pittsburgh
the short notice is gonna kill ya everytime on these deals
