Ok, I guess I should say at least a little more.
I won;t say much because I am not going to spoil anything, but it was a great movie. Was it as good as the original? Maybe not quite. But it was close.
The first maybe 10-15 min or so, as some people have already said, is a little slow. There is a little rehash, and you may think that it's gonna be like the first movie.
But once it gets going, it's really its own movie.
There are A LOT of wonderful new characters in the movie. Hank the Octopus (septopus?) is hilarious. The sea lions are a laugh riot.
OMG GERALD.
You will understand w hen you see it.
And yes.. I have to address the elephant in the room (Sorry for the Zootopia reference there)
THE OTTERS.
They don't get a lot of screen time, but the time they get they just take over and cute the place up. They are TOTALLY ADORABLE... (but isn't that how otters always are??)
Two words for you: CUDDLE PILE. (again, you will understand when you see it, it's not a spoiler.)
We saw it in regular format. I think it would be worth it to see it in 3-D, but it is definitely not necessary.
VERY IMPORTANT- STAY TILL THE VERY END. I promise, you will not regret it.
