so a few days ago my cat started acting odd, weird meows not eating and drinking much. I got him into the vet today and they say he has thyroid disease with some anemia along with some possible kidney disease. he's an old kitty so it's somewhat not out of the ordinary. I decided to put him in the hospital to get his fluids up.
I'm worried though, he's a sweet kitty and I don't want to see him die on me

Oh geez. Sorry to hear that. At least he's getting treated. *hugs* Hope he gets back on his feet soon.
