My first San Fran Pride experience
I decided this year that now would be a good time to attend my first pride. My partner couldn't join though I know he would have if he could of. Luckily I was part of the Bay Area furry contingent and had lots of fuzzy friends to meet and bum around with.
It started out on a bit of a sour note as a shady looking individual who had been watching us set up the furry booth decided to throw the fat end of a bike u-lock at me when I wasn't looking. Luckily it hit me in the thigh and the pain was temporary. I feel all grownup now. Did I just experience my first hate crime?
After the booth was all setup I had an awesome time wandering around in pup stuff with a certain fur (whom for personal reasons likes to remain incognito). We were stopped by many people who wanted pics which was flattering and unexpected. I luv hanging with is guy. He's an attention magnet and it's a fun energy to be around
The later half of the day I got to spend with pupHusky and SiagonTheKomodo 2 great pup friends. More sightseeing was done and more fun pics were snapped, and we got to check out the mr-s booth and the puppy mosh pit. Saigon did this all in full latex in the sun. Needless to say.... Trooper badass. On the way back we were interviewed by a woman claiming to work for the San Francisco Chronicle. I got a bit tongue-tied on one question and just barked. I Don't think our interview made the cut though ha ha.
Though I didn't see much of the parade, it was just a great atmosphere to experience and be a part of and I'm thankful to have gotten the chance to experience it with friends both furry and rubbery :3
Woof!
