So...
Me and my mate have been living in Georgia for the last two years and while we have made some good friends, financially, we've been struggling and struggling. We've been trying to keep our heads above water but the struggle just has become too much. His parents live in Florida and have offered to help us move in with them so we're taking it out of necessity.
I'm going to miss the few friends I've made here but this move will be best for both of us I feel. Lately with our money struggles, I've been feeling overwhelmed and depressed about it, like I'm not man enough to pay for the bills and take care of him. He's been more and more reclusive cause we can't afford to go out and spend time together and it's just a vicious circle that needs to stop and this move should be what we need.
Will be leaving in about three weeks from today so really nervous and excited and unsure but I'm also hopeful.
If you're in Florida, let me know. Would like to know some locals. Wish us luck!

You should come over to Chattooga County before you and your mate leave. Everything is much more affordable here, and absolutely beautiful. It's very peaceful.

Thanks for the offer but financially we are not secure enough to even contemplate that. We're going to be moving in with my mate's parents and staying there until we can get back onto our feet.

No worries. Think about it once the two of you are stable, even for a visit. There are quite a few job openings, loads of options for housing, and for the most part, a very laid back atmosphere. People don't try to be in your business. >^.^<
