I have a few announcements to make that will change a fair number of things around my gallery/commissions.
First:
+ Starting August 1st, I'll be changing the format of my stream commissions. +
Instead of Artist Choice/Buyers Choice/any tiers of the sort at different costs, I'm going to go with a flat price stream sketch plan, with additional characters costing an additional flat amount.
This benefits you, my clients, in two big ways.
1. This removes the time factor to my sketches, meaning that they will all be worked on until completion.
So, if your character/pose idea is a bit more complicated, you don't have to worry about that eating up the time you've bought. I don't stop drawing until your sketch is done to my satisfaction.
2. You won't have to pay for any additional hours because of secondary characters for your sketch stream commission!
You've paid a flat fee (complexity fees may apply), and it's yours!
If you pay for two characters having acrobatic monkey sex, then you will get a lovely clean sketch of exactly that!
Ultimately, these changes will save my clients money, while being able to get to provide a better quality of artwork for all of you.
The second thing you may notice is that my streams will be going to a sketch-only format.
I was looking at how I was operating and what I was able to produce, and came across a couple of things.
1. I wasn't happy with the quality of the color and shading work I was producing during stream.
After some thought, it came down to me trying to push myself to complete these things in the allotted time for the stream slot.
This ultimately upset me, even though everyone has been happy, because I want to be able to produce the best work I possibly can for you.
2. For the quality of color and shading I've produced in stream (bleh), I felt like I've been over charging for it.
To fix the situation, I'm going to only offer color and shading work as a regular (offline) commission offering.
But keep reading, cause this doesn't mean you can't get color/shading for a stream sketch!
Upgrading Your Stream Sketch
If you want your stream sketch colored and shaded, it's a simple process!
First, you get your stream sketch and post it! Enjoy it, kiss it, love it, but don't lose that want for more!
Second, you place an order in my form on the regular commission side, filling it out as if it's a new commission...until you get to the section where you tell me what you want.
Third, when my form asks you what you what sort of picture you'd like, you just link me to your stream sketch, describing what level of color/shading you want and any possible background you might like (if you wanted one).
Last, complete the form as if it is a fresh commission with all of your references and any additional comments you think I might need! That's it!
"But, Blue, I don't want to pay for a whole new commission when I've already got the sketch!"
I'm way ahead of you, and I've got you covered: I'll only be charging you the difference!
So if you want to complete the commission to, say, 60 USD worth of work and you've already paid 25, you only need to pay 35 USD for me to complete it!
Also, taking this process out of the stream removes ANY time pressures the streams have inherently, allowing me to take more time giving you the best quality I possibly can!
Last topic is a minor pricing adjustment, as I feel it's time to do one. Gotta eat, right?

Won't be anything big--just felt it's time for a bit of a raise so I don't have to worry so much about posting emergency commissions being needed.
Can't fault a girl for wanting to save a bit for a rainy day, right?
Now, again: all of these changes are taking place August 1st.
