When i hear people say " Check your privilege " makes me want to question thier levels of intelligence. Privilege is a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group of people. This is something that can be revoked by the person who gave you this. Are you fucked in head? You have freedom and rights. Not fucking privileges. do you want to say you live in a communist based idea way of thinking? saying that someone just proves how your own life is. Apathetic and not willing to change to better yourself.
A privilege is having a driving license, is having to stay in someone elses in your house. Both can be revoked if you decided to do something shitty.
So actually think freely and question everything no matter how offensive shit is.....
And take control of the life your given. If you say its impossible...you need a slap to get your senses straight

I agree, the way people use the word privilege no a days gets on my nerves too. The word is now basically a perversion of it's former meaning because of the internet and the "politically correct" movement.

Sorry but i still see it as a social fallacy. The whole example is just pure ignorance on her part anyway. Socially or not the term means nothing to me. Considering most of these statements are either based on sex or of race. As well when arguing with people from the encounters (anecdotal i know) ive had about this most people always pointed at the arguer who may disagree on thier view by thier genetics or their status. I find its regressive. People use this in such away where it recreates that segregation classes and segregation of race and gender.... Thats what im pissed about. As some who believes and enforces Egalitarian ideas and practice it still appalls me.
