We moved!

And now begins the tedium of paperwork and rebuilding in our new home in Denver, CO.
The last paperwork was filled today to close the CA location. Now waiting on mt Colorado Drivers licence so I can put in the paperwork to start the CO biz, start paying taxes and find some new help ^.^
Work is going to be slow, have much to catch up on with the last few months of California having taken a severe toll on me mentally and financially. Coworker having taken temporary leave the past 6 months did not help. >.<
Lots to do, gotta be patient with gov't paperwork first. But we're no longer living in boxes, woot! :D

Waiting on my greencard here too, another bunch of paperwork. :D
Anyone trying to park there makes up parking, so having to go back is horrible. They've closed that parking lot since April and I'm not sure when it'll be reopened.
I mailed out the paperwork for my birth certificate correction on 3/29, and received a misspelled copy on 5/25. I had to then re-mail out a court order with a letter stating the error, a copy of my ID, and a tamped/addressed envelope to prove it was their error. The new copy was received on 6/3 after emphasizing that I needed it ASAP as it was holding up the ability to do several things, such as getting a passport.
All of this to remove a single letter from my first name and change my middle name. It's less of a headache if you are just changing your last name for marriage, divorce, or other relevant reasons.
I'm happy it seems to be coming to a close at least.
I'm just at the last stage of waiting some unknown months for my greencard. Biometrics and the new corrected home addy were sent in. Wait wait wait. :)
I hope that everything goes well for you. The process of everything tends to feel like forms and waiting games. I'm sorry that it has to be a pain in the butt to deal with the whole process, but it'll be well worth it in the end. I talked to a fellow who immigrated 30+ years ago from Jamaica and lives in Pittsburgh.
For a while the state was messing with my unemployment situation. I just like things to work not getting weird letters in the mail, followed by having to make phone calls.
if you like. No pressure tho.)
Really looking forward to fall n winter, and having seasons again, and mountains to play in! :D
