Anthrocon 2016: A Blur of People

So it was my 8th Anthrocon last weekend (what have I done), many of you were there for it, and wowee was it something. I saw tons of familiar faces and even more new ones as the con expanded to over 7,000 people! I'll try to recap:
-Thursday: I arrive in town with Valkyries
talenshi and 
shadow-of-nights and begin setup. The Dealer's room air conditioning is off. 
ID_fox arrives with Gatorade and saves me from an early knockout. 
dreamkeepers , 
skidd , and 
phuufy are set up directly across from us. This is good because they are POWERFUL ALLIES. Everyone is set up, we head to our apartment and I make insane ramen for the Valkyries. We discover a goldfish named "Nibbles", he is our source of morale for the weekend.
-Friday: Some HORRIBLE PERSON tweets a picture of the CHIHUAHUA MEN at me before the Dealer's Room even opens, con security fails to have them euthanized in time. The floodgates open and for the first five minutes...NOTHING HAPPENS. Everyone has, smartly, gone to the Lackadaisy booth. Then I am slammed. Badge slots fill up, originals are sold and I get asked if there is a "False Start" book yet for the first of fifteen thousand times that weekend. That night I go out to dinner with
miupix and the rest of the Club Stripes crew. Sadly Miu has chosen a restaurant in another hemisphere so I hurry home and lay out my badges before passing out.
-Saturday:
freelancemanga (AKA: Nekonny) gets an assistant badge and joins the fray as THE LEAGUE OF KATBOX ARTISTS convenes. He brings a camping chair and proceeds to draw bikinis and tinker with my setup. Our power is overwhelming. Skidd and Phuufy sell out of their "Uberquest" books but I was SMART ENOUGH to bring my stock. They also sell out. 
starwarriors tries out the Artist Alley and discovers the terror of NEWBY PREDATORS but manages to survive. A man in a TRUMP HAT gives me condoms during the fursuit parade, it is a very long parade. The Katbox crew goes out for Chinese and discuss plans to conquer all of furrydom. Morale is SPECTACULARLY HIGH and we all seem to like each other. Times are good.
-Sunday: I get both Lackadaisy books before the Dealer's Room opens but fail to get them signed, SOME GUY stops by later and gets them signed. I forget who the hell he is but give him some free stuff any way. I am showered with Proto plushies and last minutes buyers, my originals binders are SEVERELY LIGHTENED.
kiriska assists with take down and hangs out with us in my HANK HILL TRUCK. We have a final dinner with the remaining Dreamkeepers Crew and then collapse in exhaustion.

If you end up only needing one of the tables at mff I will jump threw hoops to buy one off ya. Then we can hang and shit.
I am glad you did so well at ac though!! It seems like most everyone did well some better then others as always. Get on top!!! ;)
If you have not walked around during the holiday please be sure you do. It's breath taking.
