Seriously! This is just getting friggin' ridiculous! No, not for a change that's happening with Iron-Man in the comics, just peoples' reactions.

Just like how Sam Wilson's the current Captain America, and IS VERY AWESOME AT IT! HOW THE DO YOU EVEN KNOW SHE'LL TAKE UP THE NAME IRON-MAN!?!?!?! DO YOU KNOW THIS FOR A FACT, ASSHOLES!?!?!?!?!?!
*sigh* I'm not mad at you guys, but this is really killing me inside that people think this is all an agenda, and they gotta ruin it for anyone, like me, who's genuinely interested in what'll happen in this. (afro fitting in the helmet notwithstanding) I don't' give a crap about the change, as long as the character is good, like Kamala Khan/Mrs. Marvel. She's friggin' awesome!
I say this to any fan of mine who enjoys my art. Some of my stories are gonna feature lots of ladies. And it's NOT because I'm pandering to whatever-group, I'M DOING IT, CUZ I WANT TO DO IT FOR CRAPS AND GIGGLES! CUZ THAT'S WHAT I'M ALL ABOUT, I WANT TO HAVE FUN WRITING MY STORIES, AND PLUS, I WANNA PAY HOMAGE TO THE REALLY COOL HAREM ANIMES THAT INSPIRE ME; TENCHI MUYO, SEKIREI, ETC.
SO, PLEASE, I BEG OF YOU, AS A FRIEND! IF I GET PUBLISHED... WHEN I GET PUBLISHED, PLEASE DO HAVE THIS MENTALITY AND ATTITUDE THAT THESE FANBOYS RANT ON AND ON ABOUT.

Apparently this must've also made it bi polar or something as literally no one could relift it, including Odin who put the ''Worthy'' enchantment onto it in the first place.
So it was doubly odd at the time that some random lady could just lift it.
Though THAT being said, my only nitpick with it is "Why not just make Toni Ho into the MCU and give her updated Iron Patriot armor?" I mean I know U.S.Avengers hasn't hit bookshelves yet, but I dig her already.

I can totally see that as soon as she gets the suit she will probably just keep what Iron Man represents but under a new title so this would be more fun to see where it goes then what happens in most comics. On the subject of Thor I am going to guess the writers were inspired by the actual situation from the original story where he was turned into a woman in Norse Mythology.
Sadly we have a generation of people that are now more sensitive then ever on both sides of the extreme and I really REALLY dislike this mentality that is being shown and really needs to stop at some point hopefully...

And like I said, this is now why I actively stay away from certain fan groups, fearing it might get to a point where I might get lynched.

Perhaps that's what pissing some of the groupies off? The potential for someone new to put on the boots and ruin the reputation that the current character has fulfilled. Just like if someone else tried to play Wolverine besides Hugh Jackman, people would lose their minds. Now if they did a new Green Lantern movie, or a new Spawn movie, and made those women or different guys, that's a bit more understandable, as long as they left those specific origin stories alone and went with a new one. Those are 'given' to people, and it was established that there was LOTS of them. So show the other people's story, not just redesign the already known one and piss off the fans of that one :)
