Why is it...

I always see the same artists begging for help all the damn time? People seem to always fall for it to and go out of their way to help them. It's ridiculous. Here is a huge clue kids, if you go through their journals and more than one journal post a month for multiple months in a row begging for help and yet miraculously they keep buying art... chances are their "emergency" is that they want more art or are too damn lazy to pay their own bills and they know making a big deal about it will get people to do it for them. Primarily this infuriates me because I have had A LOT and I do mean A LOT of problems... hell I even talk about them here, but I don't beg anyone for financial help. I have never had emergency sales that I can recall and I do not do so on a repetitive basis. It blows my mind how many people take advantage of people who are willing to help, because they are genuinely good people. I watched my mother's family screw her for years because she had such a good heart and she would give until she had nothing. Open your eyes guys... people are liars and manipulators. Oh and for those liars and manipulators out there GROW THE FUCK UP AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN SHIT!!!!!!!!
That is all.
That is all.
FA+

But I see what you're talking about. I'm sorry your mother was manipulated like that. People that scam others for money by saying it's an "emergency" are just really cruel people.
I like helping people but large sums of money over the net for an issue I can't fully validate seems extremely fishy
Now about that $1,187.47 you were going to wire me :V
I'm watching already but I want to watch you again like a billion times.
I salute this journal
It's just a sale you do a lot with the added touch of trying to get people who may actually want to use their money on something they want/need more on you.
For example say the artists computer was going to hell and all they do is digital art and that's their money maker.
Welp, that kinda is an emergency and throwing a sale out there with a sense of urgency is understandable.
But "Oh my god I spent too much this week and need food!" is just digging your claws into your fans/customers.
I mean I don't do so good with it myself, but I can still follow the basic plan.
Food > Bills > Extra Food/Spending Money.
Saving money for said emergencies though...yeah no I suck.
But still, spending money plus next paycheck take care of said situations.
Artists should theoretically be no different.
Just a matter of learning to work with your money as you earn it.
In our next lesson, we will learn to SAVE money with our budget! :D
He's touched on these topics.
But been there done that, I was able to curb my grocery bill by scoring left overs from a gas station when I lived on my own trying to find a job.
I like things.
That being money for me. xD
i just stay quiet and spam their notifications with new adopts. Lol! >w<
