earplugs.i live in an apartment complex and work nights. earplugs help that or put on headphones and play something relaxing

ughhh. I hate earplugs, they feel so awful. I'm also concerned about.. ALL OUR NEIGHBORS. @__@; The dog shut up. For now. I bet when I go lay down that idiot will start up again.

Sound-canceling headphones! Or any headphone that muffles noises.

I swear it works, my dorm was across from a crack den and I had to drown out the sounds of gang fights every night rofl : (

I found a device online >> a handheld one that you just point in the direction of the dog and push the button and it shoots a ultrasonic sound that way that people can't hear but dogs can... I might get that as a last resort x_x;

I say notify the Housing Supervisor; they'll do something about it.

The only thing is, I don't want them to take someone's dog away ._. I don't think they would, that certainly wouldn't be first action. Surely they'd send them a letter saying the neighborhood has complained and take your dog INSIDE at night X_X

If they bark after like, 11 pm, you can call the cops I think.

I don't think they would take it away unless you reported multiple times. They would get warned for disturbance, maybe a minor fine if it was a second offense. But the ultrasonic thing sounds good.
I'm about to strangle my mother in law's dogs for the same reason D< They keep waking the baby up just as I get her to sleep

Have you tried writing them a letter, maybe asking if they could keep him inside or find a way to quite them? It might be worth a shot. Or it might be to much trouble. I'm not sure if they are douchebags who would just laugh and throw it away or not.

OMG my friend was having the same problem he called the police over it saying it was a noise violation and that at some hours the dog has to be inside :O
you should look into that if its a huge problem
