Spherification? Whatever it's called, it sounds fun!

It'd say it's a variation of sphere shapechange, since 'Shapechange' is basically what I call anything that's not distinctly transformation. But what you call it and what other people call it rarely matters, just describe the thing in the tags.

Either way, it sounds awesome and I totally want in. Just sayin'.

...Seriously, I wish I could find this ancient comic where the main character is turned into a ball. Actually what got me started on inflation.

So do I. It was back in the late 70s. The character gets pushed into this vacuum-like tunnel, and over several panels, slowly expands into a perfect sphere. I was too young to know what the feelings it gave me meant, but I knew I'd seen something important

I've seen it. Some people will draw this. Sebastian was known to turn girls into round latex balls, and some folks will Bluberry-ify characters similar to Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka. Sphereification is probably closest.

Well the idea of limbs slowly disappearing kinda gets me, like a character just left to the point of a torso. Also it was Violet who got Juiced not Veruca (she fell down a garbage chute, though if everything was to based she could have been transformed into a goose or even a golden egg!

I had to double-check this, because I quite clearly remember both movies having a line telling Violette (Beauregard) she's turning violet as she's becoming a blueberry. It looks like Veruca was the rich girl who wanted a golden goose.
