That's right. 3 movie studios (Warner Brothers, Sony, and Legendary Picture), are in talks with Nintendo to make a live-action Pokemon film and it has been an all out bidding war to see who gets it.
However, due to the success of Pokemon GO (Which is awesome I gotta say), the bidding war is just gonna get more intense, and its rumoured that even more movie companies may want a piece of it with how Pokemon GO topped the app charts on Android AND iOS in less than 24 hours of release and is STILL there today.
So who knows what will happen in the coming weeks.

Well, with CGI coming as far as it has, I doubt it'll be done half assed since this is a multi-billion dollar franchise, if its done wrong, the company would be hated forever, not just Nintendo, but the studio that made it as well.

They should probably do it as either an adaptation to the original game's story or one of the games with a better story.
