Nice, France - Please stay safe.

I imagine no one from Nice is on FA right now, but please, please stay safe. I don't even know what to say beyond that. Please stay safe. Please be okay.

Nice, France is under attack by Terrorist
my best friend was there only a couple months ago for a school trip.
I'm in the south of France, but it's very stressful mostly on day like this (our national day)
Thanks :( I hope thing will get better...someday
Thank you very much for your support.
I just hope those terrible things will stop someday.
on a day like that *who is special for us*
parent with children going out for enjoy fireworks and then ...
more than 70 death so far . and the parent of the mate of my brother live there
This is getting out of hand. ISIS needs to die. Far too many innocent people have been killed by these assholes.
I'm sick and tired of this violence.
My hearts go out to the family and victims of this tragedy... :'(
However, I may be wrong, since I just got home from work (2 am here). I haven't seen any reports / confirmation of it being an ISIS thing. It is, nonetheless, a terrorist attack but, it could or not be from the IS; there are also "internal whackjobs" in every country, sadly.
Regardless of who ordered / perpetuated the attack, I hope the death toll doesn't go up more than it is already. My thoughts are with every french person.
Its just that, after the Orlando shootings recently and ISIS taking claim for that, not to mention just how far reaching and deadly ISIS seems to be these days, I would not be surprised if they did take claim for it.
Its just upsets me that barely anything is being done about it. If ISIS was taken out these attacks wouldn't happen...
Idk...maybe I'm just upset over all this violence lately...I just hate seeing innocent people hurt like this... :(
Imo I still think they "claim" the attacks just to get the "glory" out of it. Just to effortlessly make people fear them. That's working sadly.
Taking them out is not as easy as many think it is. They have their bases, their leaders. And most of their locations are pretty much unknown... which is really hard to track.
The best we can do is just support those who were victims - directly or indirectly - from all these tragedies, regardless of who claims to be the authors.
It's one of those things. If I could, I would certainly want to, at least, give a hug to those who were there and survived as well as to those who had their relatives / friends killed.
I mean it gets to the point where you have to ask "do you let the bully keep attacking you? Or do you put your foot down and say enough is enough and do something to stop the attacks"?
But regardless you are correct... I am just so tired of these attacks... :'(
Something like this is already terrible but happening on our national day when people and families are just trying to celebrate.... it's truly awful
thank you for your thoughts and kind words
Back to topic, I saw the news... I hope everyone stays safe.
And no, I know what the Crusades were about, so I love when they bring them up as that backfires badly on them.
The sad thing is that many do not understand that this is not even an extremist, as there is a pretty big part of muslims thinking the same way. A majority in most middle eastern countries is for sharia law and the killing of dissidents to Islam.
As a furry, the last thing we want is Shaira law anywhere around us.
If they want to life under that shit, let them do that in their own little shtholes and kick them back from where they were coming from.
A source reference would be really nice when you make broad statements like these. Otherwise there's a risk of you simply being shrugged off as a racist, prejudical hatemonger.
It would also be good to realize the difference between what the legislation says and what the people living there actually think. Confusing the two will lead to statements such as a majority of Americans seem to hate waiters and think that they're the scum of the earth and that they deserve to be condemned to make a living with $3/hr.

Read it carefully, you might learn a thing or two.
The last part of your statement also lacks a reference. Do not demand anything from anyone you are not able/willing to provide. Not to mention that the whole narrative is nonsense. But you know that.
Btw, accusing someone of being a racist is one thing, doing it, then running away is a completely other, dishonest.
At least it's over now, but some people will certainly remember that national day and not for the good reason...
My thoughts and prayers are with anyone in Nice who suffered from this hell, directly or not.
This shit is just nightmarish.
but i am sad to report that no where is safe. it's not just people in nice that have to be careful they take random targets. next one will probably be elsewhere.
that's why every time i go out i keep my eyes open...and i sincerely hate it.
