Screwed up my laptop badly...

Heya buds... How are things going? I'm... not feeling well... because.... here's what happened a while ago...
From a while back, I wasn't sure if I was able to get in the Skype calls at all due to that my Skype is and old version while they have the new ones, so I got a little stressed out there and.... went a little too far to even attempted to remove and reinstall Skype because I was in an Ubuntu laptop. So I followed all of the instructions, and as a result, I made things even worse... Even though I can still use Skype, however, not only I can't use the Software Updater anymore, but also the Ubuntu Software Center as well... So I even tried to remove and reinstall the Ubuntu Software Center to fix it... and I made it from bad to worse... So for now... I completely ruined my Ubuntu laptop in the worse way possible(even though I can still go around in the internet, watch vids, or chat in Skype)... So I am feeling really upset and sad now... But hopefully once my folks returned back, we'll get a new laptop to fix everything up and start over as I'll be on the way to Windows 10... So I would have to deal with that...
So I'm not sure if I would recover from that... But by the time we get a new one, things should fix up, otherwise, I could suffer the worse Birthday ever... So hope you guys have a good and better day than me... T_T

I hope you get your problems resolved soon.
*huggles you*
By the way, can you watch me on http://picarto.tv/CoffeehoundJoe
Also I'm watching right now as promised.
sudo elevates the command to root which is needed to install software, apt-get is the package manager which is what the Ubuntu Software Center uses underneath, install is a subcommand for apt-get which makes it install software, and software-center is the package name which the install subcommand will install. This might get your Ubuntu Software Center back
However, I thank you for the help, but I managed to fix things up as to explain in the next journal. So now I got Ubuntu Software Center and Software Updater back up and running. ^^
