Seriously, not this sh*t again.

So, years ago, I had some dude steal some of my stories, rework them to his own preferences, and post them to some obscure forum someplace as his own work. I had that dealt with, and carried on with life.
Since then, said person has maintained on places like fanfiction.net that this was nothing but a misunderstanding, that I had been in touch with him and knew him to be an honorable soul, and so forth. Oh, and someone made an account under my name on that site essentially to agree with him. I emailed the admins and nothing happened. Oh well, no biggie.
Today I get some notes here asking if I am this guy, because one of my stories appeared to have been modified and posted on FIMfiction.net. The poster? Same guy. Now, I have never rewritten my stories to be MLP-themed pieces, and while I've got an account - under my own name - on FIMfiction, I've never posted anything there. Weird shit-o-meter: pegged.
I go over to check this out. Sure enough, not one, but EIGHT of my stories have been rewritten - almost word for word - but changed so that instead of my Vancouver Fur characters, they're MLP characters. And the situations they're in have been changed into that world.
This is a LOT of work to put into stealing a bunch of stories to get internet points on fanfiction sites, I tell you.
The mods on FIMfiction have brought down the banhammer already, though the stories are all still up as of this writing. Shouldn't take long to get rid of them. Fanfiction.net, I dunno. I identified the six stories he's posted there and provided links to them on Sofurry. (Some of those have been on SF so long they have two-digit IDs. They definitely have provenance there.) I'll wait and see if they respond in a few days; if not, I'm intending to file a DMCA takedown. Because seriously, fuck that guy.
Does this mean I'm a popufur now?

First class, of course
If so, you get a lovely batch of weapons that can make the chap's life a legal hell. As it is, even with unregistered copyrights, word-for-word is not going to look good in court.
