FA United?

Who has been or is going to FA United? I had thought about trying to attend but it looks like I'm not going to be in the area after all when it's going on and I'd like to hear what folks who have attended thought of the experience. As a dealer I'd be most interested to hear whether the dealer's room is well attended and if folks go with the intention of buying stuff or if this show is one where people are there to party, meet with other friends, or show off their costumes.
I highly doubt I'll be able to go this year, but if it stays in Herndon, VA next year then I'll definitely plan on stopping by and maybe get a table to sell at as well.

-Because of the location change, only 539 people in total attended, but that's still nothing to sneeze at
-The dealer's room is small but did seem fairly popular, though it's questionable if you'll make profit if you're hailing from longer distances and took a flight to get there
-I personally went to see the cool wares and panels hosted, but that was just me; I can't speak for everyone
-There were around 100 people in suit on Saturday in the con space
-I know a lot of the local furs were taking this as an opportunity to hang out
Basically, if you're pretty close (say, within driving range), getting a table isn't a bad bet, but if you're farther out then you may not break even (happened to my friend). Most of your business should occur on Saturday, just like any other con :)
Hope this helps Toon!
I've just moved to Virginia and the convention is about 100 miles away from me, so it's close enough I could make the trip up and attend and I may give that a shot next year. I don't know if I'd take a day off from work to do it, but we'll see what happens.
Thanks again!
