Con over! Post-con report for you:

-Because of the location change, only 539 people in total attended, but that's still nothing to sneeze at
-The dealer's room is small but did seem fairly popular, though it's questionable if you'll make profit if you're hailing from longer distances and took a flight to get there
-I personally went to see the cool wares and panels hosted, but that was just me; I can't speak for everyone
-There were around 100 people in suit on Saturday in the con space
-I know a lot of the local furs were taking this as an opportunity to hang out

Basically, if you're pretty close (say, within driving range), getting a table isn't a bad bet, but if you're farther out then you may not break even (happened to my friend). Most of your business should occur on Saturday, just like any other con :)

Hey there and thank you very much for the information! I'm not too bothered by the size of the attendance as I've sold at several other shows of similar size. Your comment about the popularity of the dealer's room is important though because I have been to some shows where even with 600-ish people the sales weren't strong because the focus of the convention was on other things (social events and costuming in that instance).

I've just moved to Virginia and the convention is about 100 miles away from me, so it's close enough I could make the trip up and attend and I may give that a shot next year. I don't know if I'd take a day off from work to do it, but we'll see what happens.
