Hey the lights on.
Okay, so I was bored in school yesterday, so I did some more number crunches. Here's the results
The firebird costs $3,000, it's not crazy to think I could get it down by $300.
So $3,000-300=$2,700
Now I have about $300 saved up for a car (I only started a little bit ago) so that brings us to about this.
$2,700-300=$2,400
I have a friend who is really into cars, and his brother is looking for an old junker like... well the P.O.S! He'd be willing to shell out around $200 for it.
$2,400-200= $2,200
Now, mom says she'll only help if the car costs around $2,000 (I'm sure a she'd put in a $150 some bumper cause she's a nice person) since I got this far it's not crazy to think this.
$2,200-2,000=$200
Now I have a gagle of friends who (hopefully) will either lend or give me money (so they don't have to be seen in that god awful P.O.S) so to find out how many
$200/30= roughly 7
So if I get $30 from everyone I ask, I'll need to ask 7 people.
So far I have
1. Abs! (God she's awesome for just lending it over like that!)
2. Cody (a.k.a dipstick, I really didn't want to go down this road because his asperation in life is to become a loan shark)
Possibilities
3. Orrie (I gave him $22 (2 of which where in pennies alone) for his Dark elves so if I really need to I'll call out this favor)
4. Travis (yes our manager travis, he's awesomely cool and just awesome for even considering it)

This means if those two considering it do, I'll be over halfway!
Since it hasn't moved in awhile, I'm thinking it'll still be there by my next paycheck. So if need be I can dip into that.
Otherwise, comissions are open if you'd like to help.
I'll edit this journal and put a link to commision info once I nab the comp.
I mean, I knew I'd be able to do it eventually, but I never dreamed of being this close to a sports car at my age!
In other news, I'm going to work tonight. if I do get the car, expect me to dissappear for awhile over the summer. I'm gonna need to work my a*censored* off to pay back mom the $2,000 and pay everybody who's lending me money their $30 back. So yeah. *crosses fingers* wish me luck!
