Say hello to Sally Acorn. She and Bunnie Rabbot are my favourites. As for Tails, I prefer his chocolate brown fur and pupiless eyes to his modern look. Believe it or not, when I first saw Tails, I mistook him for a girl.

I must admit though that Sonic Boom is an amusing comical series. "Tails Crush" was one good episode.

Heehee, all that stuff is much too modern! I'll start with Sonic and work my way up to Tails and then Knuckles, but that's as far as I'll go... ^.^

I think you'll like Sally Acorn, she's a clever chipmunk. Kinda like me.

I remember it for my older brothers child trying to explain all about to me to the time and getting all the versions that came out as he preferred gaming on a console rather than the Game Boy.

Consoles were the best! ^.^

Back then, I only had an SNES (Super Famicom to you, I think) so I didn't get t play Sonic until I was in high-school (late 90s).

Still, I hope he and his buddies have a happy anniversary. Also, good videogaming for yourself!

It was the SNES here too, I think it was only the Japanese who called it a Famicom. But yay for anniversaries anyway! *hugs*

Yay! Admittedly the first sonic games I actually owned were for the gamecube and gba because we were on the Nintendo house list.

*giggle* Nintendo and Sonic just shouldn't go together! It's all wrong! (I was a Sega fan, back when it was Sega vs Nintendo) ^.^

Hehe yeah: sad to see Sega leave the console market... that said though: Sega did make F-zero GX, one of my favourite games of all time so yeah: wins for both sides in some ways I guess.

And hey: you can have Sonic and co in smashbros now.

I never played the games growing up, but I DID have a small Sonic plushie and watched The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon religiously. (then watched Some of Sonic SatAM, Sonic X and watched all of the Sonic Boom cartoon, love that show)
As well that I collected many issues of the Archie Sonic comics!~ (of which I've drawn much fan-art from)

The most I've played of Sonic, was in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. (and maybe a couple of his games, I had Sonic Advance and I think I had something of Sonic 2/3 & Knuckles for PC, but I barely played that.)

Ah one of the first games I played. ^^ I was alive when it came out but admittedly I was still a lil tyke. But luckily for me my dad was into games and well my gateway to the kingdom of Nerd! I may now have to bust out my Sega collection hand held and play some sonic tonight. ^^

Kazootles! I had no idea today was Sonic's 25th birthday. That makes me feel pretty old, too. (Good thing Yosh is around to keep me young on the inside) In the least, we always have our characters and inner-children to keep us young forever. :)


I started with Sonic 2. Little did I know that it would also start me on what has become my overall feelings towards how I like to contribute to our world. This being as "A Helper".


When I played Sonic 2, my friend would always have me play as tails. Since Tails was invincible, I took out the bosses and helped out on the half-pipes to get the Chaos Emeralds. I then continued to get into sidekick / helper characters like Yoshi. Then, of course, you have Isabelle from the most recent "Animal Crossing" and Spike from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".


I do quite enjoy being someone who can be relied on for help. And, for me, I can trace it all the way back to when I was about 12 years old and playing Sonic 2 at my friend's house. :)

Heehee, that's awesome! I do love Tails, but back in the nineties I always played as Sonic and my younger brother was Tails... ^.^

Does this mean that Yosh would be Zee-Zee's sidekick on adventures? Yosh plays a mean beak / bill and is great at getting you across the water if you don't feel like swimming. :)

Gosh, I was only 2 months old when Sonic came out o.o; my mate though had been alive for a few years prior to that.
