I'm cleaning up some old junk of art, putting them in the scraps not removing them, prefer to have a new wave of art to post, so look in scraps my old art from there, not removing any of them, keep that in mind.

---*RANT WARNING*---
Why don't more artists do it this way? I mean, I totally understand wanting to show off your new stuff over your old stuff, but there's always going to be someone (or MANY "someone"s, as the case may be) that liked the older works, too, even if you don't. All too often I see people whose art I enjoy decide to Delete Fucking Everything and disappear without a trace (or worse, transfer it all behind a paywall (which I have no problem with if that's where it was to begin with)). Sometimes you get a "MOVING ACCOUNTS" notice on their page, but just as often you just see a "This user has blocked all access to their page and its contents" or equivalent message ("Deactivated account", "404 page not found", etc.).
Then you're stuck trawling through booru-style sites and hoping that their works are both there and tagged well enough to be found, and that they haven't demanded to be put on a Do Not Post list. Even then it's not impossible to find (once something's on the internet, it's never "gone for good"), but it's such an utter chore that you might as well not even bother.
Why would anyone go through all that trouble (and potential drama...) when they can just move it all to scraps? It's out of sight, out of mind, but anyone who DID like it can still find it without having to play Where's Waldo across the span of the entire internet.
