You have a habit of wanting very specific things from comic to movie adaptions, and as such you quite often fail to see any merits in these because you're too fixated on the things that differ from the comics.

You didn't like the Dark Knight Returns. You didn't like Dawn of Justice. I liked them both, and I barely read any comics. Maybe I will sometime in the future just for the sake of comparison, but in the meantime I am inclined to see the Killing Joke anyway (when it becomes convenient) simply because I feel I'll probably enjoy that too.

Maybe seeing the movies without their source material is the best way to do it, so my mind remains untainted by misgivings of how it should be. I imagine that the artist responsible for the movie is not the same artist who produced the comic, so it is only to be expected that there will be some creative differences. I don't have a problem with this.

see here is the thing . that very specific things I want from comic to movie adaptions .. Is that they stay Truth To the spirit of the Comic .. and mind you I'm not a Purist . i have no problem with people trying new things .. if they want batman to be a freaking hobo .. go ahead make a story of a hobo batman ....BUT when your are adapting .. you will inevitably be compared to the source material .. because its and adaptation .. not a re imagining or a different take on the same idea .. but and attempt to bring the same story from one media to another . and because of this some stuff is gonna change .. but then.. what are you allow to change .before your adaptation becomes a re imagining ? .. see this my problem with this film ..


they change the meaning of the story and they claim to be the same thing.. and they are not .. they are not putting any effort in trying to hit the same target .. and i kind point out moments when the film clearly shows the potential that it can be more and i have seen Fans do More with less of the budget and the recurses this people have

just one extra thing ..this is just a suggestion but you should read the killing joke before watching the film . just for the fact that you will only get one first impression. and i think your own interpretation should be that first impression
