Had a pleasant day of light shopping, bought some more succulent plants for my little mobile "garden". The few I bought a week or so ago really helped me to divert my attention from sadness, and these new ones seem to be helping too. It's soothing, to have something little to take care of, particularly since they're such resilient plants that love the sun and require hardly any water.
I have some fire dragon sempervivum (hens and chicks), a kalanchoe that was gifted to me (must keep it away from pets since it's toxic to them), and a beautiful "black prince" echeveria... Today I got a "black rose" (Aeonium arboreum), a "topsy turvy" echeveria, and what we *think* is a senecio blue... I hope I'll do well with them, I've always wanted to grow succulents, and it's nice to finally do it... Or try to

I'm feeling better. I sketched today, I'm rockin' some of my favorite tunes, and I've had a nice day with zel. Things will get better, I just have to make them better.
