I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take this anymore
9 years ago
This is from the 1976 movie "Network". I've been wanting to post this scene, and a few others, for awhile now because well the title says it all and this scene in particular really showcases my feelings on a lot of what's been going on lately. I dunno if this means now I'm going to start posting my actual thoughts on current and past-recent events. I've been breaking out of the 'bad thoughts' echo-chamber a lot lately, and I intend to keep doing so. Don't know where it'll take me, but for now being mad as hell is giving me the extra drive to keep going. Oh boy does this mean woofles is gonna get all political and such?
Philosophical certainly, political....eh, maybe.
Sorry no comedic vid this time around, tune in next journal post for your regularly scheduled programming!
Oh but you should watch this movie. Like now. Stop whatever your'e doing, put down the pokemon, finish rubbing one out, and go watch this movie.

I barely watch the news to be honest, either, even though they don't really bring me down in sort of depressing way. They tend to make me rather disappointed and angry, too.
Then there's news of accidents and unfortunate incidents. Family fell down a hill, 3 young children and partens dead, one 7 year old survided, bla bla bla. Many say "Why do we never/barely ever get good news? It would be such a delight." But the question is how do the people of media platforms view it as? Do they think it would be a lie to show the world how "good" the planet is? Maybe some do, but negative drama will always succeed over positive drama. It's been twisted like that for many many decades, if not centuries. The internet was supposed to be a better place with YouTube instead of TV-news etc., but it turned out to be a shitpile too.
