"Coming Attractions" #36
August would ordinarily be a quiet Summer month for me and my "Fur Affinity" site (with fewer images and 'photo-ops' to post); but since the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro are coming up this month, that usually means that I'll be posting all-new "Roly-Polympics" gags (with corpulent competitors), to coincide with the real life games. Watch for the first of these gags, scheduled for Friday, August 5th - the same day that the opening ceremonies take place...
August is also designated (by some "FA" members) as "Fat Cat Month", so I'll see if I can render an image of a full-figured feline, to commemorate the occasion...
Among other images (tentatively) appearing in my "FA" site will be new "EFF" ("Extraordinarily Fat Furries") comic gags, "Zootopia" fan art, and a sketch or two from my "Front & Back" series. I'll also try to find the time to present more rarely-seen 'doodles' (rediscovered in the cluttered chaos that is my Margate [FL] condo). And I'll reserve "Throwback Thursdays" for more unusual 'photo-ops' (taken by me, my brother Glenn, et al)...
As for future journals, I'll have another collection of "Animal Commercials" (past and present) spotted on "YouTube", another edition of "Fur-One-One" ('furry news'), and an occasional look at my own personal life...
And I hope to have a lot more stuff to offer next month, as September is the latest 'sweeps month' in my "FA" site. As always, your 'faves', 'comments', and 'shouts' are welcome... Enjoy these 'dog days' of Summer (not to mention 'cat days', 'wolf days', 'bear days', 'skunk days', and 'any-other-animal-you-choose days')!

...I can just see Clawhauser growing up as a scrawny (adorable) little twink, cheetah-speed his only defense against abusers. But one day it isn't enough; he's cornered and it looks like his ass is gonna be... you know. (Not that he's a virgin, but he prefers to choose his partners.) When around the corner comes his new hero, young Police Lieutenant Bogo! The mighty cape buffalo charges down that dirty alley, looking like a whole world of trouble to the horny punks surrounding young Clawhauser. Some manage to escape over the wall; a couple aren't so lucky, they face the wrath of Bogo before they're allowed to flee. (They hadn't actually done anything yet, so he had nothing to arrest them for. This is a cartoon, cops have to be good guys.) Young Clawhauser manages to say thank you before he bursts into tears. After a couple of minutes being practically smothered in potent masculinity, he calms down and exclaims, "I wanna be a cop, like you!" Bogo takes Clawhauser to a nearby coffee shop and talks to him about policing. When that doesn't discourage the boy, he gives Clawhauser a few tips, starting with bulking up!
Time passes. Bogo is promoted to Chief. A new, buff-but-slender Clawhauser enlists in police academy; it's tough, but he passes. His cheetah-speed is faster than ever, he regularly pulls over speeders on foot! Then... he takes an arrow-sign to the knee, pulls a desk job and the rest is Zootopia. It's kinda sad, really....
