I'm having a fursuit made exclusively for it to serve as a plush! A walking, talking, interactive plush!

Of course, it's a plush suit, not a regular suit. That just makes sense. And it's not my OC either. So maybe it doesn't count?

i don't think its a wierd idea. i don't have a fursuit. i like the idea. i don't have spare money to spend on it. if i did, and i'm all for people who do, supporting artists who take commissions on line.

i know of several other artists who have done this.

but its one of those things i like seeing.

Merchandising your character doesn't sound weird in the least.

In fact, I had a slightly different idea. Like wall art of your character.

I'm going to have my plane suits be made, but yes I'm also thinking about having plush toy versions of them being made.

Yup, I sure thought about it. The cost was about half of what I paid for the fursuit, so, nope, did not follow through.

As a side note, Eddie Bear was designed after the Teddy bear my late wife used to sleep with.
A friend found a large plush of an English Sheepdog at an antique store. It looks just like Shaemus, and even came with a hat like his.
