So, it's been a while. I found out this week that the Nextbook Win10 tablet I have has a serious flaw... There is a reset feature that deletes the OS and the restore drive won't reinstall that. Oh, and according to Nextbook, this voids the warranty, so they now cannot help me reinstall anything.
Oh, and a Win 10 64 bit system will not download the 32 bit OS. At all. Ever. *sigh*
I currently have it resetting after downloading the ISO on my ancient lappy (Running window vista), copying it to my Desktop, and burning the ISO to a flash drive to reinstall the 32 bit version. Ugh, that was a headache three days in the making. I'm calling the bottle of wine I bought tonight the celebratory bottle due to the apparent success of the reinstall. Of course, it reads 83 percent right now, but that's the best result from the last three days.
Wish me luck that the install finishes, and I can start setting up this thing for IFC at the end of the month!
