Well hot dang this has been a good week for paw finds! :D hope the chore-cation hasnt't been too harsh on ya buddy. And hooray for most pawsome! Glad it caught your attention XD

Yeah - lots of good paw-stuff this week (and last week - good god, last week was nuts with so many Most-Pawesome runner-ups). Chore-cation is going well - I detail it in the beginning of the Paw-Post. I think the whole organizing aspect of it will be something that goes on for quite some time, but the worst of it is at least over. :) And um... yeah, how could I not notice your excellent method of honey-tasting?

is it only furry artists that get interviews on the paw post, or would non-furry artists get interviews too?

Hmm... well that's a good question. The artists that get interviewed are featured because they draw nice feet/paws. They don't always have to like them personally - just draw nice ones. As such, it could be possible that a non-furry artist who just happens to draw nice furs with nice paws, or even an artist who happens to draw really nice human feet could end up being featured. :)

I mean furries who are not artists but either take pictures, film videos, or make GIFs of scenes from furry videos

Ooooh... then probably not as the Artist Highlights are more about talking with people that create foot/paw related stuff. *ponders* The only exception to that might be if the person were taking pictures/videos of attractive feet. The the tricky part there is that you can only do that with human feet, and when it comes to human feet, I am exceptionally picky about what does or doesn't get included in the paw-posts. The interest in actual human feet is considerably lower than the artist-drawn stuff, so... I'm not sure I would interview a photographer as such.

having interest in human feet also leads to having interest in furry paws along the way, at least thats how it is with me while growing up

*chuckles* Yeah, that's sorta how it was with me too. I'm not entirely sure which happened first, but I remember liking feet a lot when I was just 4 years old, and I remember liking both human and fantasy feet (like Godzilla's) even back then.

But it's awesome that you were able to power through it, and that you got it in great shape! I hope you were all able to take at least a little bit of a rest after you got it all done, and enjoyed yourselves. You sure as heck deserved it, haha. :'3

RossCiaco's feature is so crisp and clean; I love the cartoony "pop" of the cell shading and all the details and textures -- such a nice, sharp drawing! :D

And then there's Vallhund's entry, soft and warm and romantic and inviting... I really like the silent interaction between the characters; you can tell that there's some chemistry between them, and you can't argue with the power of classics. Having someone play a bit of personalized music is too sweet for words..

Yeah, busy week was busy, that's for sure. And it made this week's Paw-Post work immensely hard too.

And more ties! Jeeze. Good picks though - love that RossCiaco one too - such HUGE lovely soles. And agreed totally on the Vallhund one - expression and lighting alone set the mood well, but the implied scene just totally nails it.

Sorry the chore-cation was so much work! I can see how though, jeez... yours sounds like a truly fascinating house, but when it comes time to clean or move or redecorate, one always finds oneself wishing they possessed rather fewer Things. >..<

Jean-Michel Jarre is someone Zel introduced me to a couple years back, and man there's some beautiful synth-porn there for proper 80's ambient stuff... as for the remix track you share here, I adore it. ^^ It's got all the bits that really make me love an electronica piece... a solid, driving beat that keeps the motion alive through the whole piece, but over sounds that are deep, rich, complex and smooth. Definitely a new favourite here!

Very much enjoying the offerings this week from Vallhund, 3DiNoZ, and Doublescale... and eeehehe, thank you for including my goofy tube train-riding sergal. XD There's no way I was going to draw that -without- a cute toe splay, was there?

Great feature from Furshinku. :) Neat hearing how he was initially alarmed by what he perceived the furry community to be (which is fair!) but how he softened as he got to understand it better. Feels like a common story. I also like his points and examples about how foot fetishism doesn't have to be a strictly sexual thing. ^^ There are lots of special ways to share paws with those close to ya.

*chuckles* Amusing that by chance, that's the song that's playing again now as I respond to this. XD Yeah, so, so love that song - it's just so beautiful and creative.

Of course I included your train-riding Sergal! Those long, splayed toes are just so cute. ^_^

As for Furshinku, lol, yes - I think a lot of people, myself included, had the sorta "whooooaaaaa.... wait now..." reaction to the fandom at first. It takes a while for your brain to go from thinking there is no such thing to there is a WHOLE fandom of such things, and it's very open and explicit. XD In the end, it worked out good though.

Very glad it did! It's definitely a fandom that tends to force one to think about things and re-evaluate some preconceptions... but there's so much warmth and acceptance and talent here if you're willing to stick around a bit. ^^
