What makes me sadface is that i did the math and realized that no matter how many hours I put in at work, I'll only ever get paid a specific amount (which isn't nearly as much as I need it to be), due to wage garnishment.

Ah that sucks, "garnishment" sounds like a nice spin on it like to garnish but to garnish with CRAP. Hopefully one day it'll be worked out and that things will be manageable til then. :<

It's manageable, but just barely. They're taking a couple hundred dollars out of every check until I pay back what I owe (old hospital bill). Basically it comes down to "turn around and bend over, you'll get your lube when it starts to bleed."

Got turned down for another full time job yet again. Starting to wonder if going to college was worth it since I'm stuck working two part time jobs that only cover rent and bills. Never have money for fun.

I always found job hunting to be an impossible thing that so many people are unlucky with, like here the economic crisis is well past but businesses like to pretend it hasn't. *Sigh* ...
Wish you the best of luck job hunting, keep trying ... imo college isn't worth it but it definitely depends on the course.

Looks like this whole restricted dealer's room thing is getting worse, what with "Juried Selection" , or "Points" , or "Secret shopper Surveys", when they should be moving to larger facilities. sorry you got bit by that, and it's definitely not because you lack quality. You have to very nicely done work.

Vancoufur looks like it's growing bit by bit each year, hopefully in the future they will open up to larger facilities, I'd love that. I'm new to all this convention drama, looks like it'll be much fun. >:3

Oh huh, you are in BC. Never noticed that before now. XD Also, hugs are indeed in order. Do they do a juried style selection at Vancoufur?

It didn't always used to be up (BC on profile) then I wanted people to know Canadians are around too. XD

I believe they had a panel that decided 3/4 of the tables and the rest were randomly given off or possibly given off first-come-first-serve. I think I tried to get in as soon as I could, I had it marked on Calendar and everything.

I have seen plenty of non furry art though the focus is always more on the furry at the local con. Though its smol... not really a wait list for a table as far as I'm aware. I don't understand why human art would be a dis qualifier. Its not even human character commissions its mostly video game and popular media that furries are INTERESTED in.

I wasn't planning on bringing human stuff to the convention anyway, who knows what reasons they have - if I knew them I might even agree with them. XD Like perhaps some people try year after year and deserve it more than myself on the first attempt or something.

been in outback for 6 months basically (still here)
so no where to go. no one to hang with
no sleep overs. nothing to do out here
no internet (well have 25gb to use in 30 days.. soo i can only use facebook...)
cant catch pokemon outvhere for pokemon go cause non spawn...

story goes:
opal mining to mine opal to sell to get money cause we need money
and also cause house is contaminated with lime and mum been dealing with lawyers and such to do with the house (is another reason why i am where i am.. i honestly dont care, cause just can clean it all off easily)

and as for how long got left.
i been told by sis that leave back home on october 2nd.
tho i get to go back home near 16th of september for fur meet (16th -18th)
and for my bday which is on the 20th. + sis docters appointmenr at somepoint.
then come back to fuckall land till october.....
i did go to a place called dubbo (couple hours away from where i am atm) with sis and her bf for 2 nights. mainly to see suicide squad.

and lastly. i doubt it. but i do hope to go back down closer to where i actually live (2 hours away from it - sydney) to go to a anime con called "smash" wich is on 20th and 21st of august.
so yeah.
