So on the third (a day after my last journal) I tore the muscle in my left bicep a bit at work. Luckily I have worker's comp helping get through that, and it was the muscle, and not the tendon... so it'll be better in a couple weeks instead of months + possible surgery..
..but still kinda sucky! Had a follow-up appointment to the initial one already, and it's started healing, but I still have weight restrictions and treatments to do and stuff. As a downside to that, work has set me on lighter duty. It's easy enough, but using one arm all day is wearing it out, too. Right arm's a bit sore, my reoccuring index finger pain is back, wrist is getting sore, and it might be a bit after I heal up before I take on a bigger drawing again because of it.
So yup... thing happened! No fun, but it could've been MUCH worse. Sorry if I don't come up with much new stuff to share for a bit, but I'm still around and looking at all the cool things other people make!

But thanks! I'm hoping that by my appointment next Monday I'll be better enough to have them give me a date I can go back to regular use.
Hope it'll get better soon and that you can go back to drawing silly things =p
Now I just need some days off and nice weather, and the silly/turverted/sketchtastic/nonsensical things will surely all appear again! Hahaha
I hope you'll get some time off, I mean they should've given your time off to rest that arm in the first place, but America
Either way, hope it won't happen again, or anything else bad for that matter =p
I hope so, too! They had me on lighter duty while I was hurt, but there's weird laws where they have to keep me working SOMEHOW, however little, when I get hurt at work, so that injuries from their stuff doesn't hurt my overall income. So that part kinda makes sense... but it still sucked, when I would rather have rested and been able to draw a bit, too. I was getting way more hours than I did before I was hurt from it. Hahaha
Well at least it's something, but still, it's stupid that the US doesn't have a healthcare system like Europe. When I cut my finger at work a few months ago, I got to stay home 2 whole weeks and get payed still :p
Either way, as long as you take it easy and don't go breaking your funny bone next =p
