There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to furry trash. It is a dimension as vast as my ass and as timeless as my tiddies. It is the middle ground between squishy and firm, between science and... 'science', and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his kinks.
I think the whole idea is a bit silly.
First off, you're charging for a character that someone could easily come up with themselves. Especially when that character is a Pokémon or Digimon species of some kind (today I saw someone selling an Arcanine adoptable with default colouring, just anthro) . Although, I'm reasonably sure that making money off of a copyrighted character adoptable is illegal, without the express permission of the copyright holder.
And if you're making the argument that it's mostly for the art piece that comes along with it; who on this site in their right mind pays $50+ for a piece of art that they haven't specifically commissioned themselves?
It all smells a bit. Thoughts?

That is kind of screwy..like if it's for b points like on other sites that's one thing..but making actually money off characters with too much similarity to one's from a series they're intentionally based off of..yeah I agree that's not right

It's easy to see the faults cause there can be A LOT. However, I have actually seen some pretty amazing Character Bids. Some artists throw in the character sheet in and all the character's assets too. There's good and the bad. It's just that the bad can be crazy stupid scary bad.
