Personal update - Is August over yet???

So I realize that I haven't posted a personal update in a long while. I'm more used to keeping up with people on Facebook (which anyone can add me on btw, just ask! I also have a page here https://www.facebook.com/viseriongrey/ )
My summer job is monotonous, and ranges from being extremely tedious to extremely boring. Either way, the days to by slow, and I've been pretty demotivated to work on much art besides commissions. But hopefully that will change. I'm just counting off the days until August 25th like a desperate prisoner counting down the days of their sentence.
Then soon after I will be moving in to my new apartment with 3 other roommates and hopefully it will be a wonderful time. I have never lived independently aside from living in dorms, but I am budgeting myself already so that I will have enough to survive. My roommates are all people who I know fairly well, as well as a little senior cat that my roommate owns.
My last year at university will be focused on finishing my two degrees in Fine Arts and Art History. I am not taking any art classes for the Fall, which may be a blessing or a curse. It is a blessing because I can hopefully use the time that I would normally use for course work to do more personal projects and prepare works for my senior art exhibition in Spring. But it may be a curse if I become complacent or depressed and unmotivated. I also must not forget that I am taking two very important classes towards graduation, including a research project and presentation for my Art History degree. \
Sadly I will admit that I did not get as much done as I wanted to this summer art-wise. My time to spend on it after work is limited and I usually end up working on commissions and little else. But the commissions still keep me in practice and they help me pay for necessary expenses, which is a good thing. I have even funded buying myself a new desktop computer, which is a huge relief. My laptop is aging and has not been very reliable as of the last 6 months or so.
I'm just so ready for a change of pace. 3 months of monotony and not seeing my friends has been all but unbearable. Thank you to all of my watchers, old and new, whose support I am dearly thankful for keeping me going!
