Over the hill...maybe

I dunno, when is it officially 'over the hill' ?
Anyhoo, just wanted to give big thanks to all the birthday wishes and art i received today, love you guys and gals, keep being awesome.
but onto the important stuff, those pesky commissions...which are just about one. yes, even the ones you specifically were waiting for!
I had traveled to my hometown (Stephenville, Newfoundland) for the past 2weeks, I was sup[posed to return home on the 7th of august but a schedule mix up forced me to extend my trip to help take care of mom, so i returned on the 10th. Got off the plane, got home, grabbed dinner, went to sleep. 6 AM the next morning I'm on my way to FAUnited (here now)
So I wanted to use the short break between to do art and stuff (since I took the days off work anyway) but since that didn't happen I did what commissions I could in my parents house. (which made it tough to draw anything NSFW)
So when I get home monday I'll start posting the ones I got done and finish off the others that need it. Most things are drawn, now it's time to sling ink.
So that's my update, thanks again for the kind words and support this year and all years before, talk to you all soon.

I'm over 40
I guess ours was one of the luckiest generations ever in a lot of ways. I do not envy the youth of today one tiny bit. They're inheriting a shitstorm mess and I don't have the faintest idea how they will cope. Or IF they will.
BTW, I did check your userpage and it was impressive. I'm no artist; I'm a writer. But, I do like a lot of the anthro artwork that's being put out. I "met" Max through Sabrina-Online and a YouTube video. I decided to check out his work and I liked it, the same with Eric W. Schwartz.
What kind of unique is your new character going to be?
Hope you get home safe and sound, yo!
Happy 40th Birthday, Max.
The oldest person I know is my mother-in-law who is 96, so I'm already past the halfway point.
for me, it's 209.
I've seen new things
I've seen then stuff
I've seen now things
I've seen baahring sheeeet
I've seen WoW things & blings
I've seen 58 year olds that live more today then 23 year olds
maybe I just shoulda said I.D.K. what that is anymore either
Yep, my birthday too! And crazy enough, I know 2 other August 12 birthdays too!
Also that's good that you stopped to help look after your mom family first right.
So Happy Birthday!
GAH. Happy Birthday.
Joyeux fête à toi and all that jazz.
Just some positive vibes for you, Max, on what I hope is a Happy Birthday for you! =)
hope your mum is well to.
You're not over the hill until you start waving your cane at alla whippersnappers on yer lawn, like I do
And don't worry about the delay, had I known
I would have been the first to insist you take
care of your mother first.
The whole 'age is but a number' remains true. I've met some fine folks in their 50s and 60s that could keep up with the youngins.. and I've met folks in their 20s that acted like they belonged in a nursing home.
And you really can't beat the experience gained as we age.
Happy anniversary revolution about the vile evil Daystar!!
Take it easy. The older you get the easier it is to break things you Really dont want to break.
1. You can't make it through a full night's sleep without getting up to go to the bathroom, and you buy a waterproof mattress cover "just in case".
2. Your favorite music is playing on the Oldies station.
3. The only hands-free erection you ever get any more is waking up with morning wood, and even that is a pleasant surprise.
4. The morning wood is gone before you can do anything with it.
5. Kellogg's All Bran doesn't taste half bad any more.
6. You can't figure out how to program the VCR.
7. You still have and use a rotary phone. [Guilty!]
8. Intimate conversation in bed involves discussions of retirement plans, doctors appointments, or any medical apparatus that has the word "truss" in it.
9. Intimate activity in bed actually requires a medical apparatus with the word "truss" in it.
10. You have enough prescriptions to fill a gallon sized Zip-lock bag.
Bonus: You take Viagra for the cardiovascular reasons it was originally formulated to treat.
Happy birthday! It's all down hill from here!
And you aren't over the hill yet. I'm not quite there and I'm older. So i'll let you know.
Hope you had a good birthday!
You ain't over the hill yet because *I* ain't over the hill, and I'm a tad older than you.
People tell me I act old, too. They say I'm either going to be the Sergeant Major from We Were Soldiers or Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino...
...I could see either.
Every time I think I'm a fossil (at 59), I find another fan who's even older.
Seriously though, age is all in the mind. I tell people this all the time. Yes, you mature as you get older, and your body starts acting weird, but the same things happened shortly after your balls dropped and you weren't old then, were you? xD As long as you can keep hold of those things that make you feel young, you still are.
Middle age is where your middle is bigger than your age.
Many happy returns of three days ago, Max.
