I really hope Shady's okay.. I'm keeping him in my thoughts and am hoping for the best possible outcome..poor guy. :c
As for the paws..~
Cari's feature is so sweet and calm; such a peaceful scene... and I enjoy the unusual colours on those Pokemon! (Plus Luxray happens to be a personal favorite - electric lion ftw)
But my favorite this time is Kero_Tzuki's feature -- the posing, the colours, the shading, the character's expression... All of it is beautifully done! Plus it reminds me of my first few spins with the digital art world; the transition is pretty wild at first! Haha~
Please take care of yourself, TC. You don't need to break yourself over trying to get these Paw-Posts up, especially when you're facing more important matters in the real world. *hugs tight*
Great music. :) Evangelion... I need to revisit someday. Maybe especially this movie re-imagining you mention... my memory of the show when I was shown it by a friend was that it was beautifully done, incredibly compelling if you could get past how soul-crushingly bleak it felt, but then the ending made absolutely no sense and got all crazy to the point that I now have no memory of what even happened. So.... yeah, I should give it another shot sometime, especially if there are ways it can be better approached now.
Many many many faves again this week... I suppose Syberfab's https://www.furaffinity.net/view/20814852/ deserves particular mention from me, just because... well. You know me. ^^;
And a wonderful interview! What a spiffy person. :) I really like the thoughts both you and Irreverent share about age. I'm in my mid-thirties and really don't mind, for my part... not stressing about age, fully aware that 34 really isn't that ancient yet, and rather looking forward to the long transition toward a wizened elder dragon or whatever. I feel like I'm pretty comfortable with the fact that eventually everything ends, and that as time goes by I'll begin to slow down, but for right now, screw it, I can eat enough pizza and burgers to be satisfying, I can get outside and walk and bicycle and climb mountains, so I'm gonna keep enjoying all of it as long as life lets me. And physical considerations aside, I'm not going to let some preconceptions about age determine how I act. Goofball hatchling forever. ;)
