Anyone uses Gunnar glasses?
For a few days now I had to end each day way earlier because my eyes just got so blurry and irritated I had to stop working, I couldn't see what I was doing. This problem has occurred before and it's a recurring issue for years now. It's probably because I stare at a monitor 14-16 hours a day, and not too long ago I was recommended to get a Gunnar pair of glasses. Has anyone used those before, and do they really work at least half as much as advertised?
(Eye-drops are sort of temporary solution for every once in a while and are not recommended for long term use; I would love to avoid that if possible, or just have it around for last resort.)
*EDIT* I am planning on getting the Crystalline lenses, they don't use the yellow tinting. "Our Crystalline lens and coating formula is designed specifically for graphic designers, video/film editors, and creative visual artists that require an equally balanced color spectrum. If your profession requires you to work in true color, then this lens option is for you. "

but if i can get even a slight improvement it would be great
The difference between them from what I gather is that on the road you need to see perfectly and everything, on computer you need to reduce eye-strain, and the glasses use different coatings and lens to achieve these goals, albeit using the same ideas and technologies; like they both filter glare the same way. Gunnar also has its lenses curved to aid focusing closeup which road glasses don't need, while road glasses often darken like sunglasses which is undesired while watching your monitor.
so yeah, I'd say that it works, hahaha.
I get a headache if I work for long hours on my tablet without my filtering glasses. They're also prescription.
and yes they have cut down on eye strain a lot but not for everyone :)
Sorry my suggestion wasn't too useful. Hope everything goes well!
